Resident Services

Today, in America, supplying affordable housing is insufficient for low- and moderate-income people to achieve housing stability and enable families and individuals to thrive in communities. That is why PCDC has invested in establishing a Resident Service Coordination Program to support residents living in PCDC-owned and third-party affordable housing properties. The model employs on-site Coordinators to assign properties, assisting residents in overcoming barriers through referrals to reputable community-based service providers.

Secondly, the model embraces the proven wisdom that working together can accomplish more. Thus, Coordinators are also responsible for collaborating with community-based service providers to offer

on-site social and educational programs, services, workshops, and activities to support residents.

By listening to the voices of residents and using data to drive performance, our Resident Services Coordination Program delivers effective outcomes in the following focus areas:

Health and Nutrition

The Goal: Promote and improve healthy living and nutrition amongst residents.

Program Opportunities: Physical fitness activities, health screenings, specific health and nutrition education outreach and workshops, and access to nutritious food via distribution.
